yep, that's the one. that friggin' rocks.
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

My favorite intro was at the Club Show in Montreal at CLUB SODA in Dec 2000. During the encores, Raine went into this whole story about Jeff Buckley and how sad it was he was no longer with us etc. He looked at Mike and then said THIS IS HOPE!!!> Then they did Eternal Life. That was the best blooper ever.  :D Going on about one song, then totally do another. That to me is a classic intro( as introduction to a song-not music wise..

For this thread it is NAVEED. :D only cause I feel Naveed has always been a great song done live-especiall the way they did it over the last two years. How the bass starts and then the guitar sort of plays off the bass then the drums come in before Raine sings. This has always been my favorite song live for the intro alone. Even with MIKE, it was incredible. For me there is no comparison. The only other song that comes close was the jam they had in the middle of The Birdman before Steve started doing the solos. :D

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

I know they did that at Snowjob.

old man at the back of the door
he says he's alright but he still wants more
then the young man at the side of the house
says he's okay, he's okay, he's okay

DAMMIT!

My poems always have to do something with olp songs, but i don't do it purposely. I have never heard that intro before... and my newest poem is called the story of the door and constantly says this man.

It's really scary, and it pisses me off, because i never ever meant to sound like olp. I guess subconciously my mind just makes things sound like olp.

I was trying to figure out which way it was, and instead of listening to it, I just guessed.

Bah, my laziness is catching up with me.

There is no order, because at Music Without Borders, the old man was at the door, and he pushed the young man to the side of the house.

I hope they eventually got in :freak:

I think I like the Snowjob intro better. Less distortion. Unless the MWB is just a low quality rip...

The best part of the Starseed intro on the Live CD is when Raine wails:

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah-ooh!"

And at the little "ooh!" the entire band starts to play, instead of just Steve. Freaking great.

That 'Old Man' Naveed intro thing is friggin awesome.

It is from SnowJob, and so far, I've found it on both the Hub and Kazaa Lite, so I assume it's out there. Somewhere. (trying to avoid lame-ass pun.)

It isn't fair, Naveed is winning because it has had 23098324098 different types of intros.
