Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

So wait, lemme get this straight. Conor was on stage at an awards show for underappreciated indie bands, and because he spoke of how indie music is getting fucked by a big corporation, someone had the gall to come up and spit on him? Yeah, douche bag....
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

yep, basically.
people have such a lack of respect for artists and their entitlement to opinions sometimes.
well, people have a lack of respect for other people's entitlement to opinions in general, but i think it's especially bad when it's an artist, on stage, mid performance. that's a time when a person deserves extra respect.

Shouldn't security got their heads out of their asses and maybe prevented the random guy from the crowd from hopping up on stage and spitting on a well known, world renowned artist? I mean, how can those big, burly men completely not stop the random person from getting on stage?
