I just feel really bad because we lost to the team who lost to MSU. And MSU beat Notre Dame too, so that makes our ND shutout look even less spectacular. :(

God spoke and he said "let trot nixon hit a game winning home run" so it happened. God saw how good it was. Then night left and morning came. The 3rd Game.

Yes being sick DOES suck... I'm going on a month and a half of feeling like shit and it only gets worse and worse every day  Right now my sinuses are 100% congested (with all the fun headaches that brings), my throat is swollen closed (very painful), my back and joints are stiff beyond belief (I can't go up or down stairs, I feel like i'm 90), and anything I eat or drink makes me very nauseated (yay for intestinal pain!) Yes folks, this has been deteriorating since late august.

So yeah, I went to the Dashboard Confessional concert last night, which was the worst concert ever.

This morning, I wake up and decide to take a shower. I take my shirt off and look at my back in the mirror, and I think I got attacked by a fucking cougar. Oh wait, no, I didn't, I got attacked by a fucking pack of 14 year olds that think it's cool to pull hair and scratch you until you bleed, just to get 3 inches closer to MXPX. Fuck, I honestly wish everyone there died, except for Bobert, Bethany, and Brandnew. Oh yeah, and me.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Ouch - sorry, dudes. I guess getting clawed is much worse than getting pummeled by loogies, ketchup, and beer. But it was good beer that the Iowa fans were throwing at us! It wasn't the cheap kind.

14 year old fan girls populate every all-ages event and should be shot.

I experienced the same thing at a Matt Good show, and I am deeply sorry for you guys.

Why the fuck do those people go to concerts when they can't even hear the music over themselves screeching like a dying banshee? :wtf:

yeah .. the same happened to me on friday night at the mest/something corporate and good charlotte concert .. some chick kept pulling my hair and shoving me until I told her off ... i hate the damn punk wannabe's

At the Less Than Jake concert about 5-10 rows all fell at once .. it's scary to be lying on the ground with someone sitting on your legs and worrying about more people falling on you and breaking your neck or something

Seriously, the show was horrible. In true Dashboard Confessional fashion, Chris decided to let the little girls scream out the words to half of each song. Yeah, way to go. I paid $31 dollars to hear pieces of shit sing, and not the actual singer.

Most of the people there didn't know the words to anything besides Screaming Infidelities, Hands Down, and The Best Deceptions, which is horrible. How can you go to a show and not know anything, but still scream everytime Chris came up to the microphone? It's such annoying shit.

My favorite part was when I walked to the back and there were the gaggles of 14 year olds pretending they had microphones in front of them and were singing along to the song. I had such a fun time telling them that there was no microphone in their hands and they couldn't sing. I hope I ruined their night. They ruined mine, that's for damn sure.

So yeah, I am pretty sure hell froze over. This concert was 10x more physical than any other show I've been to, including Alkaline Trio, Anti-Flag, and The Bouncing Souls combined. I got my ass kicked the hardest at Dashboard Confessional. God, I feel like cutting my wrists for saying that.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

This girl at the gc concert behind me didn't know the words .. so she kept singing "blah blah blah" along to the music. I shit you not. Then their main single "lifestyles of the rich and famous" came on and she sang the words to that one .. aldkjfaskldjfslkdjfslkjfskljf .. pissed me off. 1. If you don't know the words, keep your mouth shut. 2. I hate the 14 year old girls who only know 1 song and are just there cuz their "hot" .... then this one girl had a sign that said "i love benji" and she kept sobbing the whole time, her mom kept giving her kleenex. I'm a fairly easygoing person but I wanted to hurt a lot of kids that night .. i scared a little boy and told off some chick ..

Yeah, I was none too pleased about the hairpulling at Dashboard. I am in the crowd and I have people pushing up against me as hard as they can, whatever, that's fine. Then Brandnew is on stage and they play a song I really like, so I start moving my head to it. My hair is long, and I understand that it does fly around a lot, but a fucking 14 year old faggot bitch has no right to pull my hair. I almost felt bad for throwing an elbow, then I realized she deserved it. If she didn't want to deal with my hair, then maybe she shouldn't be 4'11 and pushing up against me and grabbing my ass. Hey, there's an idea. If you don't want to have hair in your face, fuck off and leave.

Ahh, but then there would be no hot older girls for you to hook up with if you kill them all off when they are young and annoying.

I HATE hair at concerts. I say, if you have hair, fucking pull it back if you're in the pit! Do I want it in my mouth? No, I already had dinner, thanks. It's not my fault I had to be pressed up against you. Personally, I really don't want my hair in anyone else's mouth either. Ew.

Bethany and Rob, did you guys have fun at all?

God, you should see my hips, I have the biggest bruises on them, and my ribs too.
