Because the president of the country he doesn't even live in is fucking over the entire world, and most people don't even care to know the facts. Maybe if their favorite musicians start talking out about how the president is, in fact, screwing over every country by his moronic actions, people might not vote for him in 2004, saving the world from another 4 years of a bad economy.
