Starseed Variation

Perhaps I have a screwed up version, but in the video for Starseed, Raine doesn't do the first "Yeah yeah yeah he", right before the electric guitar kicks in.

What's up with that? Did they actually cut it out for the video, or is my file just fucked up (mind you, the rest of the music and video keep playing, so it shouldn't just be a file error)?

Plus, it looks like Raine is doing that part in the video, but you can't hear him do it.

well, i know in the version of starseed for the armagedon (sp?) soundtrack, they cut out the yeah's at the beginning and some parts at the end. but then again, i think you are talking about the video and i'm not. oh well.

more then likely that is the Armageddon soundtrack version. It doesn't have the Yaah's at the beginning and the end is just drums. I hate that version of the song.That is the only thing I can think of. ALso I didn't knwo there was a video version for it. I know there is an AUDIO version of it.

Actually, it's just the regular Starseed video. This doesn't make any sense. If it's the Armageddon version, what's it doing with the video?

I just checked, and this video does have the singing at the end. Just not the first "Yeah yeah yeah he".

The movie version has the singing at the end. It doesn't have the Starseed over, Starseed over part. it just fades out with the drums. I don't know are you sure you didn't miss the beginning of the video?

Yeah, this one has the "Starseed over, starseed over".

And I definately have the whole video. The whole acoustic guitar intro and everything.

haha, i noticed that too before but never said anything about it...

you're totally right tho rob, it doesn't have the singing before the electric guitar kicks in, but the song isn't the armageddon version cuz the drums end right away, and it has all the other singing...

it totally does look like he is singing that part tho, cuz the picture crossfades into him and you can see him squinting looking like he was singing the part tho, weird :freak:

i just checked my olp tapes and i found the video played on YTV hitlist, it has the singing before the electric guitar kicks in... case solved, must be a variation

I can't stand watching the version I have, because it's painful to not hear that when it's so incredibly driven into my brain that he says "Yeah yeah yeah he" there. :freak:

Don't watch it. Is this on Computer or Video Tape. I don't even know if that is on the version I have or not. Haven't watch the video in ages. Got me curious though.

I've only ever found the version without the "yeah yeah yeah he"... and it bothers me to no end, as well... mostly cos he's CLEARLY singing it. In fact, I overdubbed the cd audio onto it once (was trying to fix something), and he's definitely visually singing that part. I don't get why they took it out of the audio. :freak:

Hey guys, I know a guy who took the starseed MPG and used the mp3 track from Armageddon and was sharing it on kazaa. He just made his own version with that version of the song. So it could be the one he made...

I think his name was Phil... I could be way off though, it's been a long time.

hmmm, that could be it, but it's not the same as the soundtrack version because it has the end part. maybe its from a different various artists album or soundtrack....

woah.. Starseed without the yeah yeah yeah he at the beginning? *shudder* that wouldn't be standable (I don't think thats a word but oh well) I used to have that video, before my computer was reformatted and I lost all my files.. but he definately said the yeah he's in it.
