I went to the guit shop today too. I need some new picks. Mine are getting a little ... round...

So, I go in:

Me: Do you have any of those green Dava picks?

*I walk over to the shelf, and there's no Dava picks there*
*I wait for him to finish with another customer*
Me: Where did you say those picks were?
DA: Should be on that shelf there. I'll take a look.
[as if I couldn't have found them on this little foot x foot shelf :roll:

DA: Hmm... They don't seem to be there. Just a sec.
*He checks the computer*
DA: Yeah, we've got some in stock. I just have to find them.
*He spends a couple of minutes looking for this elusive box of picks*
DA: Haha, as soon as you leave I'll probably find them.
Me: Well, let's just see if you can find them before then.
DA: Yeah...
*He spends another few minutes looking*
DA: Are you from out of town?
Me: No.
DA: Well, I know we've got some here, but I can't find them.
Me: So...?
DA: I guess you'll have to come back some other time.
*I walk out without a word*

the same thing happens to me at work. there are so many boxes of crap in our back room that whenever a customer needs something, i can never find it. does that make me a dumbass too? :puppyeyes:
