Rufus Wainwright wrote:Oh God, I remember watching that concert on TV. Honestly, it was probably the best TV viewing experience of my life, not to mention the third time I saw OLP on TV (the others being the Clumsy video on MTV and the In Repair video in 2001).

I remember being at that concert. It was weird cause I was going up to toronto that weekend to visit my friend. I go up every Oct. 2 weeks before they announce this show. SWEET, that OLP just happen to be playing when I am in Toronto. Doesn't get much better. Too bad they didn't paly all the songs. They also did Thief(which sounded amazing) and CLumsy(which blew my mind how the audience sang the the song).

weirdest thing(although we didn't know it then) was that was Mike Turner's last performance with OLP. Figures I be at something like that.

I love internet radio> I listen to the EDGE when I go online. Brother's show. He always plays OLP-2x during his show. Now playing Live version of OMA-COOL.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

Do you think Mike knew it was his last show?

Or at least had an idea?

First time I saw OLP was the Thief video right after it came out. Kinda liked it, but wasn't into much music at the time.

Then, when SM was about to come out, I became a fan.

The first time I saw OLP on tv was the Automatic Flowers video on Much, when I was at my grandma's house (I am deprived of Muchmusic at my house). I didn't really think much of it as I was 10 or 11 and I remember being scared of the song on the radio. :freak:

Still cool that I remember that though..

Wait. That couldn't have been Thief I saw first. I think it was OMA. Then I saw Thief when it came out. Then, not long after, became a fan when In Repair had been out for a month or so.

I remember being mildly scared of the Supermans Dead video when it was out, though my sister liked it.

It's source is bright and endless. She resuscitates the hopeless. Without her we are lifeless satellites dreaming dreams. And as I pull my head out I am without one doubt. I remember seeing the Clumsy video on 12 angry jurors or whatever that show was called. If I remember right they didn't like it.
