They have a link to the craven shows in the 'downloads' forum. Just listened to them.

I don't know what to think. I heard not afraid, WTSOYF, and WIC, i've only listened to the last ones a little bit, but they haven't caught my ear yet like Not Afraid has. I sing not afraia all the time now. I feel that going raw is definetly good. That way it won't sound so overproduced. I think that the songs are kind of a combo of clumsy, SM, and naveed songs... which is awesome. I really hope the cd sounds like this because it is a HUGE improvement from Gravity. I still haven't hear Talk Is Cheap though... hope its as good as the others!

WIC, to me, sounds sort of like 100 Aisles and In Repair. It has the clumsy type of guitar riffs. And it has the flow and vocals from in repair. I don't know, thats just how i felt when listening to it.

WTSOYF is very cool, I love when Raine sings 'this is waaaaAAAaaar' it just sounds awesome. The lyrics are like from 4am, not what they are about, but the way he sings them and the simplicity of them. It kind of has the feeling Starseed to me. The guitar and bass just remind me of starseed. I think i like it a little bit more than WIC

Not Afraid is really catchy. It has a chorus that reminds me of some SM songs. Kind of like MOY. It might just be because i've listened to it the most, but i like it the most out of all of them. It has some of the SM type of lyrics too. I really like when Raine sings the 'simple things' part.

So, after listening to these three songs my whole attitude had turned around. I did not think that OLP could break out of the grave they dug themselves with Gravity. But as long as Bob Rock does not screw these songs up... i'd say the album should be

Anyone see Bush at the UN speech today?

When they were introducing him everything was all professional and business like, very official.

Then Bush walks in all grins basically.

I havn't d/l'ed the song yet (No I don't know whats wrong with me) but I immeadiatley thought of it as soon as I saw him.

Just ranting

Heh, yeah, someone on TV commented on his "signature smirk", and it made me think of WTSOYF, too.

I'm sure this has been asked before but I'm too lazy to look.
Is there a better version out there of WTSOYF than Craven?

I was expecintg the song to be a kind of in your face kick-ass song but it turned out to be more to a rock ballad. I'm satisfied nonetheless and the guitar solo is great (as usual).

you cannot complain about the quality of the craven show. I find it to be one of the ebst live bootlegs i've ever heard.

 Lando rocks. The quality of that show is amazing... and to think that's just the audio off of a video source.

There's a few more copies of WTSOYF, too, though, if you're interested... but the quality isn't nearly as good. Two of those copies are my boots from Knoxville and Pittsburgh. Go me!

Hey Nikki could you make me a copy of Pitts?(or just mlk into starseed?) YOu are the queen of the HUB. I can send you a CD. I can't go on to the hub. I go on line through a cafe. I love the Craven show. it rocks( I can only hear it when I go on line though). I am pretty sure you have all the shows I have excpet maybe one. I love how they do an accoustic version of Thief. It is cool how he introduces the band during Starseed. What does he call Jeremy? I can't make out the middle. Out of all the times I have seen the band they have never introduced teh band. I found that funny and interesting at the same time.
as for WTSOYF. When I saw them in Reno and San Fran-Raine changed the line to * Bullshit attitude* and instead ofsaying this is WAR, he said this is AMerica in Reno and This is San Francisco in San Fran. I have afeeling that when that song is done live he is going to say the City they are playing in during the last verse where he sings this is War Ijsut love that song. I think it is a great song. I knew it was a matter of time before Raine wrote somethign political.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

Sure thing! I'll send ya a copy of the whole show. :) Just e-mail me your address, and I'll get it in the mail as soon as I can find a cd mailer. Do you want a CD copy of Craven, too? Cos it's no problem for me to make another cd for ya. :)

Haha, yeah, it's pretty amusing to listen to. And, from what I can tell, he calls him "Jeremy D-Dot Taggart"... ?!? Does Jer's middle name maybe start with the letter D? But anyway, yeah Craven =  My favorite part is the Starseed intro.

 Wait til you hear how he threw Pittsburgh into the song... I guess it might've been the first time he did that (sticking a city name into the song), so it was rather... random. "But I'm not your friend... in Pittsburgh."   I definitely laughed at him when he did it.
