havlat isnt signed and more than likely wont sign for a long time..

its not like the sens are gonna miss/need him offensively either..
spezz can step in and cover for him
or how about smolinski.. or white.. or fisher.. and thats the guys down the middle who are most likely to play wing this year..
well spezz is gonna be the top centre on one of the top 2 lines..
(that'd be sweet to have a guy named hossa or alfredson on your right wing in your first year in the NHL heh)
go fuck yourself.

last i heard
till his knee isnt sore and he feels healthy enough to play in the NHL
he's gonna play wing this year and not centre to reduce wear and tear
but if he really DID tweak it recently
it could be the end of his career

as sad as that is

im not a wings fan. i hate the wings with a great deal of passion. stevie yzerman however is a great team leader and a great player.. hes also a very classy guy..
go fuck yourself.

 i despise the wings. and i live in windsor, so everyone here is either hardcore redwings or hardcore leafs. there's such a huge rivalry going on during hockey season.

hasek wasn't even available in the draft... is there any chance they'll make him available later? cause i want to grab him.

I just think it's really cheesy of him to go into retirement, make everyone think of him as such a legend, and then the next year come back. He was probably bitter that Roy was getting so much attention during his retirement, and his didn't compare, so why not give it another go?

God, I hope he does terrible. 20,000 GAA and .0000001 Save %. Grrrrr.

He wasn't...I think he was added after the draft and was on waivers...had something to do with not being represented by the NHLPA yet or something.

I can't believe this thread is all the way on the second page after the opening nite of the hockey season....although it really wasn't that exciting...but still.

Scott Niedermeyer's my hero, by the way.

Aren't the 'Nucks on HNIC on Saturday? I hope so, because we don't have Center Ice anymore and that's my only hope to watch them.
