that's weird cause i saw them 2 weeks ago and I thought they were totally into it. They didn't seem mad each other or anything like that. I've seen them 3 times so far too and I haven't had a negative experience yet but I think nothing compares to your first time seeing them, that was probably the best one out of the three just because i didn't know what to expect.

Alright, does anyone else see that Dave Matthews of the Dave Matthews Band going solo is bullshit?? The guy has his own freaking band, which may I remind you is named after him. It is HIS band, he gets all the attention and the songs go his way.
This just PROVES he is interested in making money more than making music. I heard that DMB reeled in 25 million on their last tour. So thats like a bit less than 5 million/ band mate. Now that may be enough for you and me, but Dave realises what he's missing out on and figures he can make 5x what hes making normally because those damn colleage kids will eat up his music ,like kids eat candy.
What a cock, no wonder his band mates may of been pissed at him.

"I hadn't really been thinking about doing a solo album until I had a handful of songs that didn't really fit with the band, so I started with those and it just grew into a full record," Matthews said. "I kind of thought it'd be fun to put it out."
Some Devil follows on the heels of DMB violinist Boyd Tinsley's solo album, True Reflections, released in June. Matthews insists, however, the albums aren't an indication of the group's demise.
"For us, it never gets stale," he said, referring to touring and recording with the band. "I think if it ever got stale, we'd hopefully have the sense to stop it, but it has yet to do that. There's not a lot of places I find as much joy as I do playing onstage with Carter [Beauford] and [LeRoi Moore], Stefan [Lessard] and Boyd, and whoever else happens to be around."
I just heard the CD and I can tell why he went solo with these songs, it isn't something DMB would put out. Just like the songs Dave always played alone at dmb concerts or when he toured just with Timmy Reynolds back in the day. It's still a good CD.
An' Another Thing sounds exactly like Little Thing (1995), in fact it's the same song but much improved....I also heard gravedigger LAST summer and it was crap back then but it's pretty damn good now.
I listened to this cd yesterday, and I couldn't tell the difference between the end of one song and the beginning of another. All the songs were slow, all the words were mumbled together, and sometimes Dave sang some words really high pitched. The guitar work sounded the same to each song. It just bothered me. I don't like Dave Matthews to begin with, but I always respected what he did, because it was different and the songs varied in styles. The solo cd sounds like a typical guy with a guitar singing the same song for 45 minutes. I don't like Dave to begin with, and even I was disappointed by the cd. It just left so much to be desired. I expected more out of him.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
