New APC is far from disappointing. It is mellow, but it is a kick ass cd. The MIRC has it for dl and it is cd quality.
What I felt before was wrong, I told myself all along, these familiar feelings take away the pain. And with this reason to rebel, I told you how I felt, you turned and sighed and said you couldn't feel a thing for me. And I lost another wish in all of this.

I think that thirteen step is a superior album to mer de noms but I can still see how some would say that it's not as good. It's defenately more mellow, and weirder, and has less 'hits', but as a whole I think it is an fair improvement on mer de noms. I guess it comes down to your taste in music.

also i've gotta say that 'the nurse who loved me' is my favourite song on this album. It's a cover, but it's awesome. 'pet' would be a close second.

It's better than Mer De Noms which is incredibly hard to say, being such a big fan of that album. The Noose is the best song ever written in the history of music.

The end.

Hah, I went to my record shop today and they definitely had three of the cd in the used bin. That's fast. Apparently people were expecting more from APC than what they gave us. Bad Maynard, bad.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I don't see how people that like APC could be disappointed with Thirteenth Step. I myself believe that it ranks right next to Mer De Noms in a lot of ways. They are both excellent albums.... Maynard is fuckin brilliant.
