Haven't seen the video, the that song is cool as heck.
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

i'm not ussually a big fan of DM but this song i really like
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

The 28th is a Sunday. I'm pretty sure it comes out on the 23rd.

This is a little off topic, I know, but I'm going to post here anyway. I was at a DMB show this past Saturday and, while the music they played was awesome as usual, they didn't seem to connect as they had in the past. I thought this was especially evident with Dave, Boyd, and Stefan. Leroi was his normally shy self while Carter seemed fairly happy. With the first 3 mentioned, I would say that they almost seemed pissed at each other. For any of you who are familiar with DMB shows, I'm sure you know that one of the highlights of every show is the lengthy violin/guitar parts where Dave and Boyd face each other and sort of play off each other. This happened about twice (which is less than the other times I've seen them) and it lasted just a few breif seconds. During one of these solos, the camera looked straight up at Dave and you could tell by his facial expression that he wasn't happy. There were even a few spots where it seemed like either Boyd or Stefan was supposed to play a solo and they didn't. At one point, the "backup" keyboard had to play a solo because none of the actual members would

Although I really enjoyed the show, I would say that based on their attitudes and the fact that both Boyd and Dave have solo albums and upcoming solo tours, this is probably nearing the end for DMB

Anyway, thanks to Al for posting the video link, I'm d/ling now. 23% done only 4 hours to go...damn dial-up

Damn.......definitely doesn't sound like DMB's happy days. Thats seriously one of the first times I've heard anything negative about their shows. Their last show they did at Darian Lake NY, some friends that went said that the speaker system was kinda fucked and wasn't producing the greatest output, but other than that everybody always has nothing but good things to say.

Let's hope it was just an overall bad day for 'um or something because everybody has those.

I've seen DMB 3 times. The first was in Philly at Veterans Stadium and was among the best concerts I've ever been to, everything was right on that night! I then saw them in Hershey at an outdoor arena and the sound was awful. I think they played quite well, but I couldn't tell for sure...it was that bad. I actually got a bootleg of the show a few weeks later and, believe it or not, the bootleg sounded better than the actual show. Perhaps it was partially where I was seated, I don't know. Then the third show was the one I mentioned yesterday. Like I said, the music was awesome and I completely enjoyed the show...I just felt as though the band was kind of at odds.

Like you said, it could have been just an off day. I mean anyone who is around someone practically 24/7 is bound to have fights with them, right? I just hope that that's the case and it's not a more on-going thing

Anyway, the video finally finished downloading this morning and I've watched it several times. It's the first time I've heard the song and it's awesome...I'd say even better than your averege DMB song...good video as well.
