Very nice job!

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

Nice.

The head seems a tad wide and the mouth looks a bit odd to me, but otherwise I think it's very well done.
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

It's really different. It's as you'd expect it to be: plastic on plastic, there's more slippage. But you know, you get used to it. After spending a day with this baby, I'm ready to tackle any future projects.

try putting a piece of paper over the tablet. It'll give you a little more realistic resistance.

"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

Nice. Could use more/deeper shading.

deeper could work. i think the lack of shading is what makes it so cool though. it's different that what you'd expect to see.

Yeah, but with the lack of shading it borders on the cartoon-y, IMO.

I'm catching on to this stuff really really fast. With the drawing of Emily I took like 2 days trying to get everything perfect. I just sketched up a quick (and incomplete) cartoonish self-portrait of myself. in like 20 minutes.

I won't even bother putting up individual pics anymore, here's the link to my gallery:
