The King of Late Night

Post by Johnny »

Who is the best on late night TV.

1. Conan O'Brien/Jay Leno- Tied for first place. I like them that much. I watch there shows every night.

2. Jimmy Kimmel- I never saw his show, so I dont know how it is. He is probably better than number 3

3. David Lettermen- I was forced to watch his shows for an entire summer. I didn't find him all that funny.

4.Craig Kilborn, is just plain un-funny. Watched him because OLP was on.

I like Dave the best. He's hilarious, but I can see how people don't like him. You have to have a certain sense of humour.

A close second is Conan.

Third is Kilborn. (I went to a live taping of this )

Last is Leno. The only thing I find funny about his show is Headlines and Jaywalking. He is a lot funnier in person. My brother and I lucked out and got tickets when we were in LA.

I used to be a huge Leno fan than I started watching Letterman and never went back. Leno used the same jokes for awhile it seemed like. Conan is a close second.

Okay- why the hell is Jimmy Kimmel not up there?!?!?!?!
I am outraged.
1. Is Dave Letterman. I mean, where else are you gonna see how many pirates you can fit into Subway?
2. Conan. He is awsome.
3. Jimmy Kimmel and is only brought down because he is fairly new.

...the rest can go where they want.

I don't watch these shows a lot so I may be mistaken, but shouldn't Dennis Miller and Jon Stewart be nominated too?
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

Jon Stewart is hilarious. It's all political comedy, but so funny, and usually right on the mark.

I saw that on CNN today .. he was talking about how he's 56 years old and didn't even think it was possible for him to still have a kid but that he's very excited about it.

I don't want late night tv so I have no opinion here .. I did go to a live taping of Mike Bullard though and he was funny .. a complete ass off camera who chain smokes in between takes but still mildly amusing.

connan rules, you all know it, he wrote for the simpsons, AND SNL, how can he not rule, plus where else can you see what celebrity babies look like, or see interviews with the likes of arnold S or masturbating bear?

   That was one of the greatest things I've ever seen on tv!!! Whenever "Monty" comes on screen, it's usually pretty darned funny, too.

Regardless of that, Conan wins over Letterman, hands down. Conan's probably the best interviewer on tv today. Regardless of how boring or annoying his guest is, it's always watchable, cos Conan makes it hilarious.

The Jim Carrey interview (which was re-aired 2 nights ago) was so great. Oh man. *can't wait for the 10th anniversary special*

Oh yeah, not to mention that Conan has the best house band on TV.

connan's band does rule, plus how can you beat a band that is lead by Bruce's drummer. Plus a little known fact is while Leno collects cars, connan is a big guitar collector.......not to mention he's had OLP on the show more times then any of them
