Chantal and Avril duet???

Post by Soozy »

I read on teletext yesterday that Mrs Maida and Miss Lavigne are doing a duet of O Holy Night for a Christmas album that's coming out in the states on the 4th of November! Has anyone else heard anything about that?

I was kind of shocked when I heard that. But it was very cool to see Chantal's name mentioned over here even if they did spell it wrong (Kreviazik!)
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

OK, I just cut my wrists now, are you happy?
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything

Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I don't like Chantal's music because I don't like pop.

I don't like Avril's music for the same reason.

Chantal is shit. I can't get into her music. There is one song that I sorta like -- "Baby Before You" and that is just because of that drum beat she has in it. But I would listen to Chantal any day before Avril. Never liked her, never will.

Hey, Chantal's great. Okay, I admit, I never really listened to her until I started listening to OLP, but, still, I really love her music, now that I know her music.

Plus Avril just seriously kills me. She was actually kinda cool, until... I don't know, sometime between Complicated and Sk8er Boi, when she lost me. She just disgusts me now.

I'm a fan of both of them .. so this will be an interesting mix.
At least Chantal and Avril wear clothes .. and can even be considered role models unlike some of the other female "musicians" out there today.

I do agree with you, Joey. Plus, I do like that song "Feels Like Home" . I didn't know she sang it! But, other then that, I'm not a fan of either.
