Sadly this morning around 2a.m. Johnny Cash died from a pancreas infection or something like that in a hospital.
Also last night around 10 the star of Three's Company and 8 Simple Rules for dating my Teenage Daughter, John Ritter, had died from a dissection of his aorta.
These people have influenced me and some other people in ways that can't be described. As a memorial please play Sell my Soul, or Johnny's cover of "Hurt"
Oh my god. Both of those are a complete shock. Woah.

No, he collapsed during the filming of his tv show. So weird and sad.

I can't believe it. This is a horrible day. At least Johnny Cash can be with his wife again....
But John Ritter, I can't believe it. He can't be dead. I still watch Three's Company to this day. I refuse to believe he's dead.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
and john ritter dying too was a complete shock I grew up watching repeats of three's company.
when i woke up this morning my parents told me about the loss of these 2 influential people, i was completely shocked. I still can’t believe it

I just really got into Cash's music in the past 6 months or so after hearing his cover of "Hurt" and I got not only the new album, but a few live albums from a whie back. I was just reading an article on the net and they were taking about how Cash exposed so many people to country music who otherwise would have never given it much of a listen. He was definatly a legend who will not soon be forgotten.
Although I was not a huge fan, it's very sad about John Ritter as well. He was so young. My dad was about his age when he passed away.

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...
It seems like a lot of celebrities have died this year. Katharine Hepburn, Gregory Peck, David Brinkley, Buddy Ebsen, Buddy Hackett, Charles Bronson, Warren Zevon, Mr Rogers, and now these two. At least most of them lived long lives.
