New Thursday Album

Post by areusad831 »

You can listen to the new Thursday album on the leak on MTV.com and so far it is fucking amazing, same style as first cd but with better lyrics and moving onto more of a everyday life topic rather then the political side the last album followed.

so many amazing cds coming out and so little money:
9/9- From Autumn to Ashes
Beth Orton
Pretty Girls Make Graves
Pennywise
Small Brown Bike
Andrew W.K.
9/16- A Perfect Circle
Saves the Day
Thursday
10/7- Azure Ray
Belle & Sebastian
The Early November
Hey Mercedes
Something Corporate

Hey, you like some good music.

When you say first album are you talking about Waiting? Cause that one is awesome.
I liked the more political lyrics from Full Collapse though, I haven't heard the new CD yet.

Don't waste your money on Andrew WK. His cd supposedly starts off with five power ballads. That's not your typical, fun-loving Andrew. Not good stuff man.

Pretty Girls Make Graves. Yeah, I stick by my words. They play the greatest live music ever, but they fuck themselves in the ass with a Kelly Osbourne look-alike and sound-alike on vocals. They fucked up.

I already reviewed the new Hey Mercedes cd, and I wound up sounding like the usual Vagrant bashers at Pitchforkmedia.com, so that's not good. The voice just bothers me, I suppose. The music is cool, some of the time.

Don't buy those three cds. Yeah. Trust me.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

i dont know about the whole SC opening for good charlotte thing. its rather vomit inducing. I like them though, i need to pick up some of their earlier stuff first.

i'll get the early november and thursday cd's and i'm gonna pick up something by the weakerthans (thanks bethany), I'll get Co&Ca at the thursday show. hopefully i can find Waiting there too.

after that i have to get to an indy store and find everything else that's too cool for hmv.

Well you've spelled the word wrong eight times in the past week, I thought it was time someone told you how to spell "indie."

Anyways, it was a fucking joke. Just laugh.

No. He's going to an Indy store. He likes the race cars, dammit. Give the guy a break. You're such an asshole, Alan.
