You can't be serious.......I couldn't name a single STANDOUT song that put those suckers on the map. The fact that they were always wearing them is what put them into style.

Ever heard the track "Rock Show" on Run DMC's latest album??? Heh heh guess what mo'fo's.........the song features Stephen Jenkins :lol:

There was a great video I saw from Tool. I think the song was called stinkfist or something like that...I'm not sure as I'm not that big a fan, but the video was really cool!). I've heard that the rest of their videos are great as well, but I haven't seen any others.

Johnny Cash did do an amazing job with that video......I don't much care for the song, but it definitely is meaningfilled.

I do have a strong developing hatred for MTV, but to counter, not all the rap they play on MTV is shit.

I agree, Eminem does make money off of stuff that most everybody citizens would be appauled about, which I'm sure 98% of the CM agrees. But lyrically, the man is a geneous.......people who have been through the genre for YEARS look up to him. Whether or not you like what he produces, the man can write a song better than practically anybody in the genre.
I used to think Nas was the best damn song writer in rap.......but Eminem does give him a strong running. And as much as I freakin HATE most of Missy Elliotts music, that bitch is a geneous too. Although "The Rain" was and still is one of the worst songs I've ever heard..

Also, I have every one of OLP's actual videos......so no probs there :lol:

Actually I don't have every version of Supermans Dead, but who currs.

Man, I am fucking with you. Not all rap sucks, but the majority of it does. If the music can't make me think about anything more than the words "bling bling", riding on dubs, drinking Cristal, and women shaking their big asses, then I am not going to like it.

And not to piss you off or anything, but I really do find Nelly's music to be pretty putrid.
