There was the greatest moment ever in philosphy class today. We were talking about what defines wisdom. One person said that learning from mistakes and life experiences creates wisdom.
Mr L: Right! Like, if I'm walking by, and I bump into this.
*bumps into the overhead projector*
Mr L: And the next day, I do the same thing.
*bumps into the overhead again*
Mr L: Eventually, I'll learn to walk around it.
*walks around the overhead*
later on (I forget how we go to it)
Mr L: Sometimes we find different ways to get around problems... like... hmm...
*looks at projector*
Mr L: Like this!
*puts one foot up on projector stand (which, I should mention, is on wheels). jumps up, and ends up standing on the projector, stradling the very top part. then he jumps off the other side. however, the projector stand rolls the other way. he falls to the ground on his front. the projector stand stops, but the projector keeps going, and smashes into the chalkboard*
Mr L [still on the floor]: And sometimes these things just don't work out. I um... meant to do that...

*gets up, and rights the projector*
[knock on door]
Mr L: It's the projector repair crew. I'll be right back.

I fucking love this class! Mr Lalonde is the greatest teacher EVER!
