I couldn't care less about this stupid shit. With the exclusion of AFI, The White Stripes, Radiohead, and Coldplay, every single fucking nominee blew asshole. I mean, hardcore tongue in the ass action going on.
I will never watch an MTV function because of that reason. It makes me sick that there can only be one category for music with guitars in it, but they have four different categories for the same rap bullshit music. Best rock shouldn't have Metallica, The White Stripes, Radiohead, and Coldplay all in it together. Those are four completely different kinds of music, yet they're grouped as one.
And all the performers suck every year. There's no way around that either. Let's see how many times we can cram the same record company produced rappers and pop singers down your throat! They all have the same story, same songs, same beats, and same fake tits. I am sick of it.
When there's a music station that plays music that people want to hear, let me know, then I will be interested.

I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Yea, after Coldplay played he said something about people cutting their wrists to that song
I have to agree with Alan. The awards were shit this year. But then again, they have never really impressed me before. Although, a couple bands kicking Good Charlotte's ass was pleasant. Best Rock, yea right.
Who did perform this year? Good Charlotte. Oh wow. They blew me away!
50 cent? Surprise, Surprise. Who'd have thought they'd ask that fuckface of corporate doom "play"? Though, Coldplay was great.
That was the highlight. Oh, and AFI winning!
But, to my dismay, people do want to hear the music thats nominated in these categories. I know its weird, but there are individuals who actually want to hear 50 cent or Eminem or Good Charlotte.
