CM FANTASY BAND: LEAD SINGER/GUITARIST

Post by Ignignokt »

ok
the goal of this will be to make a fantasy band comprised of non-olp members

we will do this by using polls and ill post 4-5 people in each poll, the winner of each poll will create the CM fantasy band.

this thread will be for the position of lead singer/guitarist.
the poll will run for 7 days.

gggrrrrr!!!!! i can't stand chris's voice! it sounds so bland and boring i just wanna fucking smack him untill he shows some emotion! his lyrics are good though. btw, does he play guitar?
as for aaron lewis...i think his vocals are amazing even after he smokes weed. his lyrics are brilliant and interesting and he expresses them with pure emotion.

It's source is bright and endless. She resuscitates the hopeless. Without her we are lifeless satellites dreaming dreams. And as I pull my head out I am without one doubt. Don't want to be down here feeding my narcissism. I must crucify the ego before it's far too late. I pray the light lifts me out before I pine away.

Hey, you know who you should check out? Interpol. The vocals there are amazing!

I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

How about none of these people? Chris doesn't play guitar; he does piano and singing only. Maynard's voice I don't care for, and Aaron Lewis is past his prime in both vocals and guitar playing.

And David Gilmour? Seems very strange of a choice to put in there, period, with all the contemporary artists.

I like Interpol, what's funny? Seriously, I make no claim of not being ignorant here, heh.

Megan, yes I am going to their show, and it will be good.

Josh, I was just saying that the singer of Interpol has such a monotonous voice it kind of bores you after a while. On top of that, they try to be Joy Division (most depressing band ever) with the vocals, and it's not quite as good yet.

Very true. I think they're style is great, even if it is exactly like Joy Division. Heh, they were supposed to be the best band in the world for a about a week a few months ago.

I like Interpol too. They sooth my craving for Joy Division.
