Blue Light Motel...anyone going???

Post by molson33 »

Hey everyone. Just picked up some tickets to the Blue Light Motel party, wondering who else is going to be going and if anyone else has details on what time the "secret" band is on.

Thanks

Oh, btw...i'm Jason, nice to meet you all. I read the posts, but haven't been much of a poster. Don't hate me.

The only time I've ever won tickets was for a New Found Glory/Good Charlotte show. I already had tickets to that show and scalped them so I could see Koufax on the same night. So I can say two tickets went unused. Heh.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I only win tickets to concerts I really don't want to go to that badly. I won tickets to Salive/Audiovent in November and Warped Tour tickets last May. I've tried for every band under the moon though

Lucky you. I went to that show with my friend who has a severe obsession with Good Charlotte and can't stop buying magazines with them in there and listening to their cds. They were horrible live. I could be biased because I never really wanted to see them in the first place, but meh.
Plus, you have a couple thousand rabid, screaming girls clawing at you to get that glimpse of Benji, hoping he'll notice them and make one of them his "Riot Gurl". Please  .

I went to Koufax instead of seeing NFG and Good Charlotte. I bought tickets because Hot Rod Circuit was supposed to play the show, and they didn't, so I was out faster than you could believe.

I remember you telling me you were going, Joey! I don't mean you, by all means ... but it was pretty bad. I was near the front and the barricades actually moved forward from the pushing. Then they burst into "Riot Gurl" and then the girl beside me started to scream that she was Benji's riot girl ... and I couldn't move, despite the fact that I wanted to run my ass out of there.

I didn't go too far in .. a bunch of us fell during Less Than Jake and that scared me enough to stay out of the pit for GC. You should have just smacked the girl beside you .. this one girl kept climbing my back until I swung at her and she went away.

Yea, I probably should have smacked her or something, but her screams pierced my ears. It was insane! 8O

Caitlin, that hurt the ribs much? :(

The pit really is a scary place. I think I've got a few more years left in me though.
