It isn't a band name yet, but it should be, and oh yeah, I remember that now.

The CM has it really good. Look at any other moderated message board. They don't let anything stay if it's outside of their strict rules. We let a lot slide because we're a lot more easy-going than most mods. We only resort to banning if it's extremely necessary.

This is slightly untrue, but I don't feel like making a list or arguing.

things didn't go sour until Bloodrayn came back. I think we can all see that when all this started was the same time as that guy decided to reappear on the board.

ahem.

the problem is with a few select people, i think, who may be keeping score.

i mean my whole CM career pretty much has been arguing with Narbus, Corey and Reno, but I think that the four of us could probably still go for beers any night of the week without bloodshed because we've been fighting about stuff for so long that a mutual understanding has been reached.

we're now able to keep out personal references, because personally, i consider them to be my best friends on this board.

in conclusion: if somebody says something that pisses you off on here, you must remember that they're probably really cool people in real life. even if you say something back, the best route is to bury the hatchet. i think that some people on the CM don't do this, they instead hold grudges and never let anything go.

it's my experience that life is too short for me to spend it hating other people.

but maybe i'm wrong. maybe that's not the problem. it wouldn't be the first time i was wrong.

yeah i was just talking about that a few days ago

you guys did your share of fighting, but it was obvious that you didn't hate each other, and weren't malicious toward each other

now what has been going on recently, on the other hand, is the opposite of that

What's going on now IS malicious, because you don't fucking jump into a random thread yelling "FAGGOT FAGGOT EVERYONE HERE SUCKS AND I AM AWESOME!!", or something to that effect, unless you wanna start something.

I'm exaggerating, and I know that BloodRayn may've been provoked, but still..There's just no need.

Ummm... who pays for this board? Like who pays for the bandwidth and the domain and what not?

Cause I'm afraid I'm gonna have to go with the whole if you're not paying for it, you don't really have the right to complain about a free service thing.

If you don't like how it's run, do something about it... leave.

Sorry to sound harsh but I would think that whoever is paying for this out of their own pocket deserves thanks, not bitching.

Stace, you couldn't be more right.

Although, I think people have the right to suggest changes. The board is for the people, after all.

Oh, I agree completely, but this topic didn't seem to be in the spirit of suggestion.

I just get pissy when I see people taking advantage of a good things. Taking good things for granted is what makes them disappear.

Or a premonition. But Stace is right, input is great but not people demanding change. I could demand that the Robs take off all of their clothes and post pictures, but that wouldn't obligate them to do it. It's their choice.

If I had a webcam, and the board allowed nudity, I would.

As for premonition... Stace just posted that. After the blackout. :P
