<p>And in my darkest moment, fetal and weeping. The moon tells me a secret. My confidant. As full and bright as I am, this light is not my own. A million light reflections pass over me. It's source is bright and endless. She resuscitates the hopeless. Without her we are lifeless satellites dreaming dreams. And as I pull my head out I am without one doubt. Don't want to be down here feeding my narcissism. I must crucify the ego before it's far too late. I pray the light lifts me out before I pine away.

New Amsterdams - Worse for the Wear
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I went to London Drugs to buy some stuff, but I bought a $20 copy of the Goo Goo Dolls "Gutterflower", and then when I realized I had no money for the other stuff I originally went to buy, I returned the CD... :cry:

I'll be back there tomorrow, even if I can get the copy for $12 across the street. :wtf:

I bought the Aqualung album today (psh. no-one will know who they are :roll:)

I only bought it because I used ot really like the band that Matt Hales (who essentailly IS Aqualung) used to be in, and I heard & liked about three of these new ones. It's not too bad, but a little slow and ballardy for me I think. Like Coldplay :nod:

I know Aqualung, well one song at least.

On topic: Peace Songs, and the next cd I'll buy is Muse - Absolution, I've already downloaded it and it's awesome.

Dashboard Confessional - A Mark A Mission A Brand A Scar

After the first few listens I really like it a lot. I'll need to listen more to be able to compare it to the earlier stuff though.

:::troy:::
:::troy:::

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...

Dashboard Confessional- A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar ( love this cd)
Bright Eyes- Fevers and Mirriors
What I felt before was wrong, I told myself all along, these familiar feelings take away the pain. And with this reason to rebel, I told you how I felt, you turned and sighed and said you couldn't feel a thing for me. And I lost another wish in all of this.
