Man...

Gibson Les Paul Standard. Heritage Cherry Sunburst. Silver hardware. Cream bindings, etc. Cream pick guard. Reg $3800. On for $2700!

I want this by the end of the summer.

I told my mom about it.

She said "If you spend that much on a guitar I will be very disappointed in you."

Me (thinking): Fuck you, bitch. I worked hard for this money. I'm going to spend it on something that makes me happy.

Also, I'll be selling my old guitar to get some off of the price. And I have a friend who works there who said she'd try to give me a deal if I bought it through her.

$2700 + tax = $3105

eep.

- (let's say) $200 for my guitar... = $2905

Now, I've got $2400 in the bank.

I'm getting paid on thursday.

$2400 + roughly $500 = #2900

Dear lord I hope I can get $200 for my guit.

I might wait until I get another paycheck though, just so I don't empty out my account completely.

I forget. Around $600, I think.

Here's my logic for buying the Les Paul.

This is like the Holy Fucking Grail for me. I have the money. I have one bill to pay each year, which I've already paid this year (car insurance). If I wait for a couple of years, I'll have more bills to pay, and likely be strapped for cash. So, unless I want to wait until I've got a steady career going and am going through my mid-life crisis, I should buy it now.

Plus, LPs just fucking rock. It would make me happy. Why wouldn't I!?

Question... Will a store that doesn't deal in Ibanez buy an Ibanez on a trade-in?

Yes, an Les Paul will make you happy!! BELIEVE ME!!! I was extremy over joyed when I got my first Les Paul!!

oh and yeah, stores should take trade in's for all guitars. I dunno how much cash you will get for it though but, I suspect that you won't get much for it.
