Is there something wrong with me?

Post by Long Jonny »

Ok... let me explain my situation.

-I spend hours upon hours on the net researching anything OLP.
-I only listen to OLP's music.
-I am constantly burning OLP CD's (over 100 total)
-I print pictures of them in high quality and put them up in my room.
-Chantal Kreviazuk became one of my favourite artists after I found out they got married in 99.
-I check OLP.cc, OLP.net, CM.net, OLP.com, and the countless other websites every hour to see if there is updates.
-I spend hours on eBay purchasing OLP items I don't have already.
-I buy all of the import CD's from HMV- even Innocent :D
-I got my 5 year old nephew hooked on OLP
-I enter school concerts singing OLP with my band
-I go to their shows anywhere within 500 miles.
-I dress like Raine and Jeremy.
-I talk like Raine.
-People say I look like Raine- I dunno.
-Looking around my room, I found 167 items that relate to OLP.
-I save gum wrappers that I have from OLP's show.

Is this normal behaviour for an OLP fan? Or am I going crazy?

HaHa! I don't want it to stop. Yeah, ON is pretty much the prime source for OLP. And man, I cannot believe how many people don't know who OLP is- I don't know how many times I've heard the church line. Or people call them Our Lady of Peace- including Kilborn. There's some cool olp contests that americans can enter... I moved here from Florida when I was about 7- I'm 17 now- I always wondered what would happen if I still lived in Florida- I wonder if I would have became a huge fan when starseed was released- hmmmmm... somethin to think about. The U.S. does suck- and i am american. canadian pride! lol!

There's only one thing I can really say is wrong with that...

Yes, OLP is one of the best, but there is other great music out there!

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...

I agree. Thats a little ... weird. :freak: some things I do are like those you listed. I do keep concert things like gum wrappers in a binder-type thing, but thats for all concerts I go to.
Is this thread suppose to justify your OLP fandom or something along those lines? Not to sound bitchy, just a brainstrom. I noticed that alot of people who are new to boards take on that persona. Nothing rude intended, though.

Without you I'm as good as
