I play some tunes on my crappy Squier P-bass and some on my little bro's Ibanez electric guitar. I'm trying to put a band together, but a band without a drummer isn't that cool. And we suck too.

I'm seriously considering getting an LP soon.

I've been feeling kind of blah lately. Kind of in a rut.

An LP might just bring me out of said rut.

But they're so damned expensive...

Oh, John, I wanted to ask you:

What's the difference between the different LPs (standard, custom, studio, classic, etc)?

It just boils down to the materials used while building one.

well, pretty much all LP's that I play feels the same for me.

I love the sound of a LP, thats why its my guitar of choice. I tend to notice a slight sound variation between my Custom and Studio +, but no one LP is going to sound the same as another.

...but since I do not have your axe I can't really compare the sound between the two.

Hope that helped

yeah just the colors of it
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

Well, I'm almost positive that the guy(whom I was going to buy the axe from) is ripping me off. I sent him the money the moday before last. I reckon that he shoulda gotten by now. So I send him an email last saturday and he hasnt reponded. I sent him a few more and he still hasnt responded. I hope that he may be out of town and hasn't recieved the mail but I doubt that. Now I believe that he may have ripped me off. So tommorow, Im gonna cancel the money order(that is if he didnt cash it)

The guitar in question was autographed by OLP as well

Well, It appears that i cannot cancel money orders.....

...but the post lasy said that money orders take anywhere from 10-14 days to get down to the U.S.

So, the order may not have even reached his home. I really hipe that he hasnt checked for it yet.

Lucky SOB! You'd better not play it. You might ruin the sigs.

Get a clear case for it like in Wayne's World. But don't make it yourself, it will just break and fall on you in your sleep.

In other news...

I just recorded my first official multi-layered recording. It's the chorus from Happiness & the Fish. Three layers. Rythem guitar, lead guitar () and (crappy) vocals. I won't bother uploading it to my comp until I actually do a full song. I'll get around to that eventually.

Still not sure...

I think I'll go to the guit-shop on Monday. Just to "look". Maybe ask some questions and stuff, too.

Haha. I feel a lot like Wayne. I'll just go in and play LPs until I decide to buy one.
