I try not to compare songs to others or albums to others.......I guess I take them as they are now. I like OLP........I wish they would get some of that creativity back, but I still think they are a lot better than most bands. I care what they think and hope they do well.......I guess that makes blind sometimes, but I'll stick with OLP right to the end.

SpiritualJunkie: Some songs can get worn like that......where the meaning just dies away......I remember listening to Innocent for the first time and absolutely loving it. Glad you found it again.

First off, I think the title could be worse. Though, it is a tad long. But, it's probably not the actual album title anyway, so it doesn't really matter. It's definitely too early in the game for them to have an album title picked out.

And, I'd love to know why you guys are all saying it's gonna be released in 2014 or whatever (I don't feel like going back and seeing what exact year you put). OLP releases stuff INCREDIBLY fast compared to just about every other band out there. And they give us approximate dates when they *think* stuff will be out, because we ask. So... what's the joke about the release date about? Nikki confused.

Because the tentative date has been pushed back from late this year, to early next year, and now to early-mid next year.

^That's prolly just because they released Gravity in the summer of 2002 and they're already releasing another one. They've released 3 albums in 3 years...they're not giving themselves enough time.

I don't know, my opinion, even though I don't really want it to happen, is that they should take like a 3 year break or so. Not with touring or writing, but with recording. They're popping out too much material in too little time. It's getting watered down.
Don't say we're healing when it's just not what we do...

wait, wasn't sm released in 2000 making it 4 years with 3 albums? if you count happiness, sm, and gravity, thats 4 years with 3 albums. sm came out a year after happiness and its still very good. plus, its not like they're spending little time on it. they said that every chance they get between shows that they're working hard on the new album, so i don't think you guys should worry too much. also, they're taking a break after the album 6 tour and raine is teaming up with chantal on their album. there might never even be an album 7... but i shouldn't be thinking too far into the future. anyways, most of that was pointless, but whatever

we were just joking around b/c the DVD was supposed to be out the same time as the live cd and now its moved to fall but i think that is good..dont want too much too soon. I think the CD should be released around March then it will be almost two years.

I wouldn't mind if OLP decided to take a year off from the touring and the recording. It will make me appreciate whatever they come out with next. I know I was ready to kill when I waited for Clumsy and Happiness to come out. Hell, I went to Canada to get Spiritual Machines cd in December, instead of waiting until March 13 in America. When they take their time, it makes people want something more.

And I couldn't care less about the name. I want music.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Until it's officially announced we can't set an approximate date.

I am already dreaming up cover art.

I like the "Wipe That Smile... Off Your Face" idea.

But i must agree with neoncrossing, I think "Not Afraid" would be an owning title.
