In fact his music lately has been better than OLP...

^ i'm agreeing with jim.

matthew good is fantastic.

i find with matthew, it's best to start off with the catchier stuff, then move your way in. so for now try out 'load me up', 'the future is x-rated', or even 'apparitions'.

anything from his last three albums is just perfect, though.

i started listening when i heard load me up on the radio. then i downloaded that song and more of the catchier songs like hello time bomb, everything is automatic, deep six. then when i started listening to things off audio of being and avalanche, i was disappointed because it didn't sound much like the other stuff. but after i listened to audio of being a few times, i noticed how musically brilliant it is. audio of being is my favourite matthew good cd. avalanche is also amazing but i don't think that its as good as audio of being. go buy both. dont think twice. (and dont download them. buying music keeps music coming  )

It's source is bright and endless. She resuscitates the hopeless. Without her we are lifeless satellites dreaming dreams. And as I pull my head out I am without one doubt. Don't want to be down here feeding my narcissism. I must crucify the ego before it's far too late. I pray the light lifts me out before I pine away.

I've got two MGB albums. I used to listen to them a lot. I still like some of it, along with his new stuff, but it's just not my bag right now.

the odd song from Underdogs are really catchy, but basically if your going to get a starter album get Beautiful midnight, it's all pretty solid
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

 Beautiful Midnight is as close to mainstream as matt gets, But avalnche is beautiful, it's just doesn't make the total rock out that some new listeners want
