Ew, it sucks. I thought it was a bad, very unOLP SONG title, so now to find out that it's the name of the entire album...... ugh.

Don't worry. We'll all have children and Duncan will have died by the time they finally get the cd released. We honestly will have forgotten this OLP we all speak of now.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I don't hate it, but I think they could come up w/ something better. Whatever it is, I don't care as long as the music is good. And album names can change, I've seen it happen before.

I like my idea that they should call it NOT AFRAID to signify their change to a simpler sound and how they dont care what people think as long as they like it.

But i like WTSOYF too. The song and the title rocks.
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

yes, yes it would. he could be smiling on the cover.
as for his age, i think he's in his mid 80's.

It's umm... not the best title... it's not very catchy and doesn't come off the tongue very well... at least with Happiness you could short form it, and it also has a bit of metaphoric value.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

the title needs some work...

maybe they'll use all these extra months to tweak a few things, add a little polish (i.e. everything). you have to wonder if they really need more time for work or just for marketing, etc...

there's always hope... :D

I have a feeling that the title is not going to stick. It's still early on and Raine might just be suggesting that the title will be WTSOYF. Save the worrying for mid 2004 or early 2017, as Alan put it. *sigh* The 2017 joke doesn't seem far from the truth.

A war or politics album would kick some ass. I have endless ideas for album art as well. I just hope they do find a better name for album 6 (or 7, including Live).

I always thought "No Warning" would be a good album title. Wipe that Smile..... isn't the best title, but honestly it doesn't matter.

"Sol" (not Saul, SOL) won't be on this one. That's like suggesting that Mike and Lanni are going to be on the cover (or the album, for that matter).

This is the third time Our Lady Peace has copied me. I wrote a song called "Superman's Dead" before them, then I had a song called "Gravity" and then a song called "Fall From Grace" which featured the first line 'wipe that smile off from your face, your wings are broken and you have fell from grace'. Oh, and my band was called Acidic Reign (Raine). Bastards! Get some original ideas...

Sorry, that was a joke. You missed the big debate we had about that a long while ago. In fact, I was on the "Saul" side. Just trying to get people going. :heythere:
