Alkaline Trio, Hot Rod Circuit, and Koufax put on the most entertaining live shows I've ever seen, and they don't have to climb up walls to keep me interested. The guitarist of HRC is just the most fun thing alive....ever. Him playing solos just blows my mind. Matt and Dan from ALK3 are so into playing the music, you love just seeing them. They put so much effort into making their show perfect you appreciate it. Koufax...they're just fun to watch. I don't know what it is about them, but I just love to see them play.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

early november are fun to watch too...the guitarist and bassist are insane and constantly swinging their guitars. I also like when the whole band sings the lyrics (not in the microphone) it just makes it seem like they are more into it.

emo emo emo
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

big_green_monkey wrote:why are you guys so hard on creed? if you listen to their whole new album it is awesome. the music is awesome and alot of the lyrics are quite meaningful except for some of the more pop/radio friendlier songs. plus their sound is quite different with their kindof weird but unique vocals and three people that can actually play their instruments well. go listen to songs like "signs" ,"bullets", "whos got my back", "weathered", and "young grow old". most of their singles aren't a very good example of most of the music on their albums.

also, how can you say nickelback and creed are copying eachother? they are two totally different bands that sound totally different from eachother.

I dunno...just thier music and sound is so much the same...but thats just my opinion.

TRASHBAG HELMET
