something new... because if they release anything else now than they're pretty dumb IMO. they need to wait till closer to the album comes out, and release something after their songs have been off of high rotation for a while.
starting with SOT they did really well, then each song has done worse and worse since then because people are tire of hearing the same band over and over. this is why they need to give everyone a break from hearing them on the radio, and maybe towards the end of the year/early next year release something new that can explode.

i don't think wtsoyf would ever make the first single because its way to slow and not like exciting rock music. it's good but its not like a hook-me-into-the-album kindof song. just like are you sad would never have been the first single off sm. so yeah, probably not afraid or something never heard before. like sm, they performed life and everyone's a junkie and neither were released first and something never heard before was.

I would hope for something that actually sounds somewhat rock-ish, and not a continuation of all the goody-goody pop-ish songs they've been releasing since Life. 
Sorry, I love the guys, but, like i said, the goody act is getting old, i miss the old songs like SD, In Repair, Carnival, etc...
