I tip mine .. only cause I love him so much .. he's the greatest :D I tip my tattooist as well .. he does a lot of stuff on me for free so I have to tip something .. I usually tip my piercer $10 ... my tattooist $10 to $20 .. if they do shitty work I wouldn't tip them so much but I have no complaints about my piercer :)

i have never tipped a piercer. i feel bad now. but then again, i don't have a regular piecer that i always go to. i don't even know how to go about tipping. do you just casually slip them $10 afterwards?

Yeah I have a regular piercer .. I trust him piercing just about anything .. plus I'm in there way too much lol I just hand him the money and when he attempts to give me change back I tell him not to worry about it ... my tattooist hates taking tips .. he argues and tries to give the money back lol

but all the places i have gone to, i've had to pay before i got my piercings done. unless i tip them before, which would not make sense.

Oh, they get me to pay afterwards .. that way if they "mess up" or you're not happy with the piercing/tattoo they can adjust the price or whatever. When I had my tongue pierced though, I paid up front .. but that was a different place. Just depends on where you go I guess ..

Go to an actual piercing studio, not Claires or anything like that .. it's better to get it done with a needle, not the gun .. heals better and less stress on your ears .. they normally cost about $30-$40 depending where on your ear .. there's tons of places to pierce on an ear .. if you're gonna get one ear pierced .. get two .. sexier 8-)

each ear lobe cost $40. i didn't think it would be that much. i was planning on getting 4, but i didn't really want to waste $160, so i only got 2.

jonathan, didn't you say you wanted to get your cartilage done? i think that costs about $55.

If it's your first piercing ..you might not want to start with the cartiledge .. any cartiledge piercing will hurt like a bitch .. and cartiledge piercings are hard to take care of .. after 6 years I lost one hole, it closed (i think) and the other one is finally healed ...

grr i'm at lab because i wanted to get some work done, but i can't do any transcribing because my partner didn't copy the tape, so i am doing that now, and i can't get letters ready to be mailed because the secretary is still trying to find more people for me to send letters to.

so i'm basically wasting time...and i feel bad about it because i should be doing something but i have nothing to do right now :(

poor Bethany...

I'm currently undergoing a thorough cleaning of my bedroom. I found a lot of old stuff from years ago. Even my hockey card collection which may now be worth something since it was from like 10 years ago...

It's weird cause I hear all these people saying that they're attracted to people with piercing but yet it has a negative effect on me. Oh well...

I agree.

Xono...I have this problem too. Family here thinks you should be married by 18. I'm an old maid now, no one will have me :(

ohh sexy Johnathan ... 2 piercings :D

no we're not getting ripped off by paying that much for ear piercings .. piercings done with a gun wreck havoc on your skin .. just regular lobe piercings are fine with a gun (though I'd still rather get it done professionally and not at a hair studio) .. cartiledge or anywhere else should be done with a needle .. making it more expensive since more care goes into it .. I'd rather pay more for a safer, sterilized (piercing guns aren't sterilized) piercing :P

Plus a gun tears a hole bigger then what's necessary while forcing the jewellery through .. a needle makes the size the same as the jewellery .. promotes better healing yada yada yada .. I can go about the negative effects of gun piercings lol
