@ jeff

yes i know they aren't punk.... but most people dont unless they are actually fans of them... they are those bands that are just crammed into the category of "punk"... funny thing is, they are more about what punk was originally about than most new punk bands today. lol..

i believe i read somewhere that they are "emocore" whatever that is supposed to be.. i just call it great music.

i don't.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

Whose boob is that, Jeff?

I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Matchbox Romance?

"A picture's worth a thousand words, but not worth the words I need to hear. I miss you so much that it hurts, and tonight I wish you were here with me, so I could make you see. The stars they lay across the sky so perfectly. They remind me of all the times when we used to sit underneath them those summer night, and fall in love. Its not alright, it's our last night together. I won't give up, I can't let go of you. I can't let go of you. And tonight I close my eyes and dream that she is still the one laying there beside me. I'd walk a thousand miles, I'd swim across the sea. What do I have to do, please just tell me."

yes. and they also scream which is completely gay. and their music sounds exactly like 15,000 other bands. unoriginal and lame.

I like Good Charlotte, but I wouldn't call them punk. Well, let me put that a different way, I like their albums IMHO they suck live. I saw them live twice and both times were bad. Luckilly they were both at festival type shows and there were other bands there that I enjoyed. I think the problem with Good Charlotte live is that they jump around too much to actually play anything that's worth listening to. I have no problem with bands putting some energy into their performances if they can still play decently...if not, they should just stick to playing

But Brutus is an honorable man...

The sad thing about that is that one of my friends could say that in all honestly.

I hate Good Charlotte.

troy is exactly right. i like going to see bands that don't jump around but they're playing is just so intense, it makes for an awesome stage show. those are actually my favorite types of live bands. alkaline trio and hot water music are both fucking great in that respect. especially hwm. mmmmmmm.
