Doesn't matter. Like I said before, Canadians are bombarded with American history lessons all the time, where as the same does not often go the other way.

i find it annoying that we know everthing about america (or at least more then lots of americans) yet they never take the time to learn anything about us, for such good friends they sure seem to know jack squat......
a few days ago this is what happened at work
Me: are you guys here from North Dakota?
Them: *looong pause* no we're from manitoba....

Well, plenty of Canadians don't know jack shit either. We're not the only country with some dumbasses.
Furthermore, since Canada, unlike America, tends to mind its own business and doesn't act like it rules the world, it makes sense people would know more about America than Americans know about other countries. *shrug*

because w're right next door, and share, media, trade, and language. Plus we mingle freely in eachothers countries all the time. Plus if your going to a country you should have some idea of the country.
