i work at the exotic bird store. that means sweeping the store about 50 times a day, feeding birds, cleaning cages, mopping, bagging seed, holding for groomings, helping customers, register stuff, and helping with hand feeding and stocking shelves and all that. sometimes i get to play with the birdies.

but yeah, the 31st is my last day. i'll have to rely upon my other exotic occupations...

i also get really weird sunburn lines from the shorts and socks....mmm, white on thighs, white on calfs, red on back of knees. yes, i know i'm sexy, don't have to tell me. *sigh*

I work in a bakery. I clean just about everything. It sucks. I spend most of the day on my knees (haha, I can do without the obvious jokes), or bent over the sink (once again, haha). Plus, it's always super hot in there because of the ovens, and I've always got wet hair because of the steam (and the heat). :freak: Oh, and everything in the bakery is super heavy, and I have to lift a lot of it.

But, I get $8/hr (Can), and I get to take home stuff that doesn't get sold every once in a while.

I get over $300/week, which isn't bad since my only bill to pay is car insurance. However, that's $1200! Fuck, I'm pissed about that. That's such a fucking rip-off.

thats horrible... should have kicked him/her.

My new boss was showing me how to add up a production sheet, and i had the math done in my head before she even started to write it down on paper. and she's probably done this for a living for 20 years.

in Ontario 6.40 is student wage. (anyone under 18 and works less than 30 hours/week)
6.85 is minimum wage.

It varies from Province to province since cost of living varies greatly. ALthough you would think Ontario would be higher. Stupid PC party...
here's the actual stats
