so i finally got to see feeder on tuesday, and it was so great.

i did, however, leave a little disappointed, but thats only cause they played 9 songs and there was so much more i wanted to hear. they played 5 off of comfort in sound, 3 off polythene, and only one off echo park. yesterday went too soon was absent, though 'Waiting for Changes' and 'Insomnia', were on the setlist (which i got!)..they played 'My Perfect Day' instead, which was awesome, though i really wanted to hear the others. they just better tour the states (preferably texas) again soon and headline their own show....that would be one of the coolest things ever

cause I don’t want to drag you down, hold you down
cause you’re a friend
i blame myself
i guess you think it’s funny now, funny now
it's such a shame..."

I listened to all of Comfort in Sound at real.com at the CD listening party thing, and it's great. I'll be buying it.

guess im stuck in a dream
surrounded by colored leaves on the ground
as i stare at the tree
i see one fall down on my hand
as i start to explore
i cant ignore a man
he turned his head around
his face was all worn by the sun

im going out for a while
so i can get high with my friends
i will
im going out for a while
dont wait up cause i wont be home
today

I'm going to see them again . They're doing an arena tour at the start of December and I'm going

I don't really like arenas to be honest, but it's Feeder so...

:D :D

Are you going to the Birmingham show Sarah? I'm going to Wembley :) I don't like arenas either, but I missed them at Brixton cos I was seeing OLP and my friends wanted to see them again - we got some pretty good seats too (I think) - so I'm looking forward to it :D
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

 Woohoo! Feeder is coming to Holland. Actually they were here last weekend as well, but at a festival and I didn't have time nor money to go. But now they're doing a headlining show in Amsterdam in November. :D

* turns on Comfort In Sound (which I just bought) *

I'm really bad at describing music, but according to Allmusic.com it's post-grunge alternative metal.

Allmusic wrote:British pop-metal outfit Feeder was formed in London by singer/guitarist Grant Nicholas and drummer Jon Lee, who first teamed in the Welsh band Temper Temper. Originally dubbed Reel, the new group's line-up was complete with the addition of Tokyo-born bassist Taka Hirose. After signing to Echo in 1995 Feeder issued its debut EP Two Colours, followed by the six-track Swim; a series of well-received singles — "Stereo World," "Tangerine" and "Cement" — expanded the trio's fan base further, and in mid-1997 they launched their full-length debut Polythene. The hit "Day In, Day Out" preceded the release of Feeder's sophomore effort, 1999's Yesterday Went Too Soon.
