It's entertainment if it's on FOX!
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I guess some sort of comedy show.I saw a commercial of it where one of them was interviewing Simon from American Idol and after he answered the question they just stood there with the mic in front of him.I don't get it.

You would have to see Japanese television to understand probably.

Have you ever seen Extreme Elimination Challenge on TNN? That show is hilarious.

Also, if you haven't already, check out http://www.japander.com/japander/index.htm

The ones with Arnold Schwarzenegger are the best:

My bros are just watching that. He was asked one question and you were supposed to bet on how long he would stand there after the chick asked the question. He was there 77 seconds.

I watched it and God it was awful. I have a lot of Asian friends and talked to them about it. They said it doesn't really bother them, but they could see how it could bother some.

It's just a stupid show, who cares about any of the things they do?

(BTW, this is spam... but ever see Trigger Happy TV where a lady once asked a question, walked away...and the chick kept adding to her answer... great tv)

Isn't that the one that's an actual Japanese game show, where they do a whole bunch of stupid stuff...? And all the voice-dubbing is done wrong, as a joke?

Banzai is weird. It can be funny sometimes - but a bit repetitive. It's just betting on random things. I'm personally quite a fan of the shaky hand man - who basically shakes a celebrities hand and you bet on how long it takes them to reclaim their hand. He did a whole interview shaking this woman's hand once. How silly.

Trigger Happy TV is fairly amusing. I didn't see the one you're talking about though...

Yah. a guy I work with said he tried out for that show but didn't get on. (He's japanese if that wasn't obvious)

hmm actually chum has been carrying it for about 2 years now, i saw 3 shows last year and sure it wasd dumb but some parts i found funny. As for the stereotypes, i believe it was origanlly Japanese so it's probably not meantto be racist, just wacky. Not that i'm sticking up for it too much, it's pretty low brow, but still.

PS has anyone here seen the Show "The Buzz" it used top be on Chum, and it's on the Comedy network now, i think Daryn from it is friends with a bunch of people from much.
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

Buzz can be hillarious at times, but it's pretty low brow too.

Daryn Jones and Mr Moe (moe moe moe)
They got this kick-ass wicked show (show show show)
They go walking down the streat
Talkin' to people that they meet
This show's so good I got a bo-o-ner
That's why you're watching Buzz this week.

I don't know how I semi-memorized that theme song. :freak:
