Know what's even more annoying? When people who have never heard of OLP refuse to listen to them because they think they're a Christian band.

Yeah...just 'cause they mention God.

I've always wondered...does anyone know what the religions are of the guys in OLP? Sorry that was so badly worded.

the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"

There's an Our Lady of Perpetual Help here too :freak:

And I think there was a topic on Raine's beliefs a while back, if I'm not mistaken there was some confusion and no one is really sure.

nobody quite knows what raine is, but his father tried raising him a catholic, and he attended a catholic school for awhile, he rejected that though as far as i know

i really hope OLP blow me away next album or at least challenge me, i'll always love them, but they might be downgraded to #2 or #3 on my list, right now they have a huge dominance but that will change quick if another Gravity comes out, IME and Matt are hard one their heels

i semi agree, i support Olp like a motherfucker, and even if this next album is better than gravity or is just as good, it won't bother me, because i did like gravity, there were some very good songs on that album, even though i know many of you didn't think so... oh well aslong as OLP doesn't turn into the next metallica... god damn bob rock.

those songs may not even end up on the album... they've said that they have only finished half the album. They said they still have 10-12 more songs to write before they decide which will be on the album. They'll have a good 20-25 songs to choose from. .

it doesn't need to be a bad song to not be on the album. Look at trapeze, I think many people will agree it's a good song but it never made Clumsy. It's all about which songs fit well.

yeah... i liked trapeze, i really liked the story Raine tells at the beginning
i want OLP to make a B-side and rarities CD with that on it... and with the story at the beginning...

i know of a few of their recent shows, they played not afraid, wipe that smile, and walking in circles, but they played circles in every show, while alternating the others from the setlist.

preference?
maybe they're seeing how well the track is going over with the crowd?

(not afraid makes a good opener, by the way. everyone's pretty used to all for you, so it makes for a nice change of pace)
