Sickening. I find it funny that Kariya went from making $10million a year down to $1.2million. Makes sense.

Anyways, I want to see what Fedorov does now. Detroit offered him $10million a year, and I can guarantee that no team out there will give him more than $6million a year. Thank God that we pulled the offer from him. He can go to the Rangers, never make it to the playoffs, and crash as many Ferraris as he wants over there, that piece of spoiled shit. I guess $10million a year over 4 years just isn't good enough anymore. Hah.

in a way I respect Kariya for taking a paycut. I remember al kaline got offered something like 1 million to play for the tigers, turned it down saying that no one deserves that much to play sports, and signed with the same team for less. There's a true athlete.
....The whole avs. thing is still sickening though.

Federev doesnt deserve anything the slightest bit close to 10 million. The ways he's played the last couple seasons he's lucky to get half that.

and finally, Patt Quin and the leafs need to get off their asses and make some deals. If they think their team is good enough the way it is they're joking. they still have no defence and an offence that's way to shallow.

Maybe Toronto will sign Federov. If that happens, good luck with that whiney, drunken bitch!

Yeah, what I don't understand is why Kariya would leave Anaheim. They came within one game of the Stanley Cup, so he decides to leave town. And last time I checked, this guy was totally useless in the playoffs, scoring maybe 5 goals the entire postseason. So he chooses to bail out on the team he's been with his entire career, and where he was the captain, to go to Colorado and be the 5th or 6th scoring option if he's lucky. Fuck him. It's not admirable to bail out on your team. That's like saying it's admirable for Karl Malone to leave Utah to go to the Lakers for less money, there's no admiration in that, it's just being selfish.

No, he said he will only be a Laker if Gary Payton signs, and Payton will, because he would get a good amount of money, and pretty much a guaranteed title because they have four superstars on one team.

Wow, Those Avs really stocked up didn't they? Kariya, Selanne, Sakic, Forsberg, Hejduk and Tanguay? That's insane!!!

The latest rumor is that Fedorov is going to sign with Anaheim for 7 or 8 million/year, that would be something.....

Ahh well that's the life of a small market team... although, We've got Reinprecht and Warrener (he's the coolest guy ever) now!!

Bye Bye Drury... too bad you didn't like Calgary.
