aiden is spelt AIDAN, or at least that's how it's spelt in my brother's case. you can spell it however you want. I think it would be cool if it were spelt AIDYN.
Anyway, I have a few names worked out as well... for a boy: ethan, liam, maybe owen. and for a girl the only one I like is gwyneth.
i prefer it spelled aiden over aidan. people might pronounce it "eh-dan" that way. i like mercedes for a girl.

I don't think there's anything wrong with having an inspiration for a child's name. My girlfriend's name came from a song, and it also just happens to be the name of an 80's band, but that was purely coincidental.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
