Hey Jeff...
Hey Jeff...
I noticed that your new user name is 'the 1234' and I was just wondering if that's a reference to theSTART or if it's something else.

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...
But Brutus is an honorable man...

we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

Yeah, they're so awesome! They're actually one of my all-time favorite bands. A few of my favorite songs are Shakedown!, Nemesis, and Death Via Satellite...they're all great though. Does anyone post on theSTART's message board? I used to frequent that board, but I've pretty much become just a 'lurker' of late. Anyway, I first heard them at a Weezer concert as well. I went there knowing their name and that they were opening, but that was absolutly *all* I knew. I knew they were great from the first song! When they covered a Nirvana song, that just made me love them that much more
They said they had a cd for sale, so I walked out to the merch stand. Unfortunately, they were sold out so I went to every single merch stand in the place (probably only about 8 or 10, but with the crowds it took a while
) I didn't end up with a cd that night, but I soon found out from a friend that they were playing a small town called Telford which is really close to where I live!!! They played the Telford Borough Hall and only about 75 or so people showed up. I not only got the cd, but I talked to them (they were all *really* cool btw), got Shakedown! signed and even got to see their dog, Eno! What a cool band
