SARS Concert

Post by Brooklin Matt »

I just got back from it. Woooooo am I bushed. Guess I'll get down to the meat and potatoes.

OLP's first song was something new........that or I was just unattentive because I was running around like crazy for my seat. I really can't review it, and I am hoping someone ripped it. Some other opinions on this would be nice.

Naveed/Life was the best song they did, despite Raine molesting Steve again, and apparently falling down........he's such a clutz  He also climbed on the drums at the end and took a nap.

My friend thought OLP was the best band of the night. I'm tired........bed time. good night.

Raine grabbed Steve as usual.........my friends thought the touching was "inappropriate".........haha

I am not sure, but I saw Raine lying on his back having trouble singing to Naveed. I think he got carried away and took a tumble but that's just an assumption as I didn't see it. He could have just decided that the floor looked nice and comfortable. At the end he climbed a top the drums orsomething close to it and lied down in the fetal position as Jeremy banged away. he wasn't napping...............but its something my cat would do. raine was pretty wild.

I agree, the SKYDOME sound sucked ass. The echo is just crazy, but its the 500 level that truly abbhorent. I couldn't hear one word of Swollen Members, and caught only the last song of Sum 41 when they finally got the speakers working. they cut out again during Innocent, but I was on the 1st level and missed that embarassment.

I smelled sooo much weed. I heard there were 1200 complaints......not impressed.

I ended up being third row for the whole show and i thought the sound wasn't too bad, but maybe that's because i was closer. I don't know.

What happened at the radio interview? I couldn't stick around, they were supposed to be there at 3pm but didn't come until 4pm. Did the radio guy tell them to play Blister at the show?
