I am unable to access it even though I already have it in my computer somewhere (I searched), it is not in any programs and when I click on the items/programs found, AIM does not load. Basically, I just click and nothing happens. However, when I try and re-install it, it says it can not continue with the installing because I already have AIM running, which I must close. Obviously, I do not have AIM running.

Unfortunately, no. This started happening a month ago. How many times have I shut down and restarted the computer again? Obviously too many to count on fingers and toes.

AOL is retarded anyhow. I use Adium, which allows you to chat with AIM users, but is faster and better. It might only be for Macs, I'm not sure.
