So, by now you may or not be aware of the story of , the mother who was beaten to death in 3 rounds of a Toughman competiton, which is basically everyman's boxing.
Let's start the discussion there - why did she die? obviously she was getting her ass kicked, where was her trainer to throw in the towel? why didn't the ref stop the fight? you can't blame the other fighter, the woman was trying to win, she's not going to stop until they tell her too.
Anyway, now Sports Illustrated columnist Kostya Kennedy says that ALL of boxing, and not just Toughman competitions, should be banned.
So, fans of boxing - got an opinion on this?

Yes, well, we all should know that the media makes outrageous clames to get themselves noticed. Ban boxing. Right. While we're at it, why don't we ban women's basketball, women's soccer, and the NHL, they're killing TV time and ratings. What a dumb fuck.
