i love conor oberst. his genius is without parallel. only fools would allow themselves to overlook this amazing talent. he is the best lyricist of our generation, bar none.

i downloaded a few BE songs awhile ago - Waste of Paint, Lover I Don't Have to Love and From a Balance Beam...all QUITE good...i just read through this thread and i'm currently downloading some of the recommended songs

I had my first Bright Eyes experience.. i listened to "something vague". It was good and all.. well great, but it sound like he's getting drunk as the song goes on.

this is true but that was not drunk compared to knitting factory show.
now Arab Strap had a few too many that night but guess you have to be drunk to sing such shitty music.
