Processor: Pentium 3 - 450 mhz
Hard Drive Space: 7 GB
RAM: 320 MB (the only part of my pc which is actually updated)
Graphics Card: 4 MB piece of crap
Age: 5 years
Amazed? Actually, all the low system specs keep me on my feet. Amazingly, I managed to optimize things well enough to run Windows XP quite smoothly.
Boy am I glad I'm getting a new PC soon... any suggestions on which companies I should go with?

My PC is actually running quite smooth, proving that RAM can go a long way.
Actually the only thing that really hurts me is that I have to delete huge important files in order to support my craving for OLP videos and music (which take up 1/3 of my hard drive space), and the fact that the most graphically intensive game I can run is the "Star Wars: Episode 1 Adventure Game" :

Ahhh, reminds me of way back when we had the ol Compy 386 with 66 mhz on "Turbo" mode (anyone remember those?
). The fact that I couldn't play Riven properly warranted the purchase of our new computer. Have any of you guys have played the Myst series?! Those games are nothing more than a slideshow of pictures, no 3d graphics or anything! Turned out that my pc couldn't handle simple mpeg movie files.
Ahhh. so there you have it, I've been livng this "crappy PC lifestyle" all my life, so I'm used to it (still agravated..but used to it).

I never got very far in it because I started when I was 8, but I just really liked the graphics, although the puzzles might have been too complex for me at the time.

I was in Grade 4 when I played it. Of course, I had to use a guide to get myself through a lot of the parts. I was near the end, where I was about to get to Gehn's world....and thats when I clicked the trap book. Stupid stupid stupid...
Mandatory Riven screenshot:
I can understand why people wouldn't consider this a "real game", but part of it is admiring the beauty in the world around you and getting into the feeling of complete isolation. Ahh the memories.

i'm currently addicted to civilization 3
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
