But drowning is quick, and you lose consciousness after the first minute or so!

Skydiving, when the primary AND emergency chutes fail to open. So you've got a good five minutes to contemplate how you're going to go "splat!"

The worst possible way to die is to be tortured to death by a Mord-Sith 8O

Good thing they don't actually exist 8O

burning would be pretty bad, but what about some of those people that are burried alive in a coffin and don't die for days after waking up, sometimes it's been reported that some have mannaged to crawl there way nearly up to the surface, and it's been found that there hands are worn down to bone, and the inside of the coffin apears to have animal scratchs

8O Good point...

I'd have to go with drowning. It's extremely painful, and not being able to breathe for that long is terrifying.

yeah the overwhelming sense of panic and the pain you'd go through when drowning would suck majorly.

my mom almost drowned my pet mouse once, cause she thought it was sick and wanted to put it out of its misery. as it turned out it was just out of water.

heheh the thing would have been extremely happy for a few seconds as it quenched its thrist and then would have been like "ooooo shiiiittttt..." that is if mice could say "o shit"
