i'm starting a site designed to share new music, it's called the alternative and i was wondering whether someone could come up with a sweet logo and text title
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

I've already got some ideas for the text and logo. Can you tell me anymore specifics? Anything that you personally want on there? A background image of OLP or something? Give me some more specifics.

you could use olp, but the site is not geared to olp specifically, so if you do, don't make it obvious, the site is for discovering new bands and sharing music. Basically anything cool looking will do, i used to have some paitshop pro talent but i forgot it all so now i can't even do the simplest of things

I like that one, too. It's non band-specific.

One I did just for fun... a godly Raine towering over his audience. I fixed my image hosting problems.

Yes I know, it was like that in the image that I got it from. If you notice, the second one I did (the one with the audience), the rest of that guitar? I drew it in myself.

Of course if he wants to use mine, I'll redo that image and enhance the quality. They're both really rough.

I'm not too good with photoshop, so I sided with my program of choice, that is - Flash MX. I like it better anyways as an artistic tool..lot's of possibilites with the vector graphics tools.

However, while I'm not too good with photoshop, I use Adobe Imagestyler which is like a beginner's program, but it does pump out some cool graphics and designs.

That's why I was asking if anyone knew a free image hosting site that allowed off-site linking.

EDIT: nevermind, I just discovered the joy of villagephotos
