Not Enough just blew away 5 other songs on 89X's people's choice. (Despite what they said on Rich and Shelly's site, a 59% win is huge considering the other song only had 41% of the votes.)

I agree with you, and the only reason I can see for it is if they feel that the live version comes across with more energy and as a better song. An example of this from my own experience was when I went to see RHCP and I heard Parallel Universe live and that song blew me away. Now if RHCP would have released the album version I would have questioned their motives, but in that case, the live version was far superior to the album version.

I have to say this is one of the best OLP recordings I've ever heard. The band was completely in tune, and also it has that energy and rawness of a live performence. It was a good choice for a single.

Oh, and OLP just blew some other song that I forgot the title too away by 94% of the vote last night!

This is gonna get popular.

I think it's awesome they are releasing that. I like Naveed/Life better...but I understand why they chose that one.

ummm... why would they bother to re-release two singles on under 1 track? that would be a complete waste in my opinion...
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
